Parlee Beach Provincial Park is at 45 Parlee Beach Road in Pointe-du-Chêne. NB Parks describes it as one of North America's finest beaches, with the warmest salt water in Canada and Blue Flag international eco-certification.
Parlee Beach is a high-demand beach park with a strong accessibility story. The official page says a mobi-mat has been rolled from the sidewalk to the water so wheelchairs, walkers, Hippocampe chairs, and strollers can navigate the beach more easily. It also notes an accessible comfort station with male, female, and gender-neutral family washrooms.
The campground makes Parlee more than a day-use stop. NB Parks lists more than 210 campsites, and the campground page says it is about a 10-minute walk from the warm saltwater beach. Campground amenities include a campers store, amphitheatre, change houses, showers, washrooms, playground, picnic area, and parking.
The park also sits in a busy visitor area. The official page points to Boutique Beausoleil, Euston Park Patio, nearby shopping, marinas, restaurants, accommodations, cultural activities, and the World's Largest Lobster sculpture.
It is a beach-first park, but campground services make it practical for longer Shediac-area stays.
Plan around beach time, swimming when conditions allow, sandcastles, campground stays, accessible beach access, beachcombing, shorebird and waterfowl watching, nearby dining, marinas, boutiques, and Shediac-area stops.
Confirm water quality advisories, beach capacity, dog restrictions, accessibility equipment, campsite reservations, campground services, parking, weather, and NB Parks notices. Dogs are not permitted on the beach except vested service animals.
Check swim advisories early.
