Scatter River Old Growth Park protects a remote Peace region landscape along the Liard River Corridor in northeastern British Columbia. The official page describes access by the old road to Nordquist Lake and Elk Mountain, by river routes from the Fort Nelson River, Sulphur Creek, or the Toad River, and by ATV, foot, horse, or boat.
Things To Do
Fish for species such as arctic grayling, chum salmon, bull trout, inconnu, lake whitefish, mountain whitefish, northern pike, and burbot with the proper licence. Experienced riders can plan backcountry horseback trips, hunters can use the park during open seasons, and winter recreation is listed as available.

There are no designated horseback trails, so riders and hikers need wilderness navigation skills. River travel must account for dangerous rapids and changing conditions.
