Christina Lake Park is a BC Parks day-use area in the town of Christina Lake, just off Highway 3 and about eight kilometres from the American border. BC Parks describes Christina Lake as one of Canada's warmest lakes.
The park has 350 metres of sandy beach and parking for more than 200 vehicles.
Christina Lake Park is a family-friendly warm-water beach stop with trees, picnic tables, and a buoyed shallow swimming area. A mobi-mat and mobi-chair are available for swimming access.
Activities include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, road cycling, waterskiing, and hunting during open season. Christina Lake also has two public boat launches nearby; Christina Lake Marina is closest to the park, about 10 kilometres away on the east side of the lake.
The area has long been known for fishing, swimming, and summer recreation, and the community grew as a recreation and tourism destination in the 1920s. The park was established in April 1971. Pine, fir, and cedar forests surround the Monashee Mountain setting.
Camping is available nearby at Texas Creek Campground in Gladstone Park.
Plan around sandy beach day use, warm shallow swimming, picnic tables, mobi-mat and mobi-chair access, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, waterskiing, road cycling, nearby boat launches, and summer beach time.
Dogs are not allowed in beach or picnic areas, and must be leashed elsewhere. Watch for bears and wildlife, check for wood ticks from March to June, carry fishing licences, and use nearby campgrounds for overnight stays.
