Young's Point Provincial Park is an Alberta Parks provincial park in the North region, on the northwest shore of Sturgeon Lake. Alberta Parks lists one day-use area, one campground, and two group-use areas.

The official page says the park is just over one hour east of Grande Prairie on Highway 43 and 10 kilometres northeast on Range Road 251.

Why Visit Young's Point Provincial Park

Young's Point is a year-round Sturgeon Lake park with more than 100 powered and unserviced campsites, lake access, trails, playgrounds, bike tracks, group camping, and a rentable day-use shelter. The day-use shelter has power, picnic tables, a wood stove, sliding doors, an outside fire pit, dock, and shore-fishing access.

Activities include beach use, birding, camping, canoeing and kayaking, cross-country skiing, fishing, hiking, horseshoes, interpretive programs, ice fishing, mountain biking, power boating, sailing, wildlife viewing, wind surfing, snowshoeing, geocaching, and electric bicycles.

The park has more than 10 kilometres of walking and biking trails. It does not have a designated swim area, but Bighorn Loop has water access and a playground nearby. Snowmobiling is not permitted in the park.

Summer interpretive programs run Fridays and Saturdays in July and August, including amphitheatre shows, drop-in programs, guided hikes, and campfire programs.
