Chalets du Huard / Chalets Scarf offers twenty-four 16' fiberglass boats complete with reliable 15 h.p. motors. Please remember to bring your own life jackets.

Chalets du Huard / Chalets Scarf Fishing Cottages

Chalet Scarf has 2 cottages that are accessible by road and they are situated on a sandy shoreline. A 1 mile boat ride across Lake Kipawa will bring you to our main camp - Chalets du Huard. Chalets du Huard has 9 deluxe cottages that are nestled among magnificent trees. The cottages are sufficiently spaced along the shoreline to ensure your privacy. Each has its own dock, outside fireplace and picnic table. All cottages are totally equipped with stove, refrigerator, dishes, pots and pans. We supply the bedding but you must supply your own personal towels. There are separate bedrooms, indoor facilities, and showers and running water. Every cottage has a living room facing the lake, carpeted floors, oil or wood heating and 24 hour electricity. Cottages can accommodate from 3 to 10 persons. Two cottages equipped with gas stove and refrigerator, dishes, pots and pans. Each is heated by a woodstove and has an indoor washroom, shower and running water.

Moose & Spring Bear Hunts

The lack of human habitation plus the many back lakes, ponds and marshes surrounding Lake Kipawa make this ideal moose territory. You receive the same package as fishing but with unlimited gas. Upon arrival you will be given a tour of your exclusive (active) territory and provided advice on how best to hunt it. Alternate territories and miles of logging trails are also available. Be sure to book early as a limited number of hunters are allowed. (2 hunters per moose).
