Tsa-Kwa-Luten is a unique resort designed to renew your soul, offering privacy and seclusion within an 1100-acre forest located on the southern tip of Quadra Island, only a scenic 10 minute ferry trip from Campbell River.

All accommodations feature ocean views of historic Discovery Passage and the snow capped mountains of Vancouver Island, including the dining room, lounge, meeting rooms, sauna and outdoor hot tub.

Savour a wide selection of West Coast seafood cuisine in the casually elegant atmosphere of our dining room.

The lodge features Pacific Coast Kwagiulth architecture as well as traditional and contemporary First Nations Art.

Tsa-Kwa-Luten ("Saw-kwa-loo-tan") Lodge is a magical place where legends live in a land of salmon, eagles, killer whales, soaring mountain peaks, swirling tidal waters and lush evergreen forests.

Hike, bike, kayak, fish, take an adventure tour, view First Nations potlatch artifacts at the nearby Nuyumbalees Cultural Center at Cape Mudge Village, or simply savour the beauty and peacefulness of Quadra Island.

Accommodation includes 30 Main Lodge in a variety of configurations to suit your needs; all with spectacular views. 3 2-bedroom beachfront cottages with kitchenettes, gas barbeque and gas fireplace in the living room area. 1 4-bedroom Guest House with full kitchen, private hot tub, gas barbeque, and two living areas with gas fireplaces (this unit is also rented as a 2-bedroom unit with kitchen/hot tub and a 2-bedroom guest suite). One 2-bedroom Wharf House with 2 queen bedrooms, large jetted tub in one bathroom and an oversized shower in the second bathroom, full 4-piece kitchen, large covered wrap-around deck with spectacular view, ceiling-to-floor windows in the main living area, gas fireplace, gas barbeque, and a breathtaking view looking northward towards historic Seymour Narrows.

Tsa-Kwa-Luten Oceanside RV Park

Located approximately 1km from the Main Lodge, our RV Park is situated alongside Discovery Passage on the edge of an 1100 acre forested property. Historic Cape Mudge lighthouse (established 1898 and still fully staffed) guards the entry to Discovery Passage and is between the RV Park and the Main Lodge, only a short walk away. Facing NW towards Seymour Narrows, in the evenings the Cruise Ships returning from their Alaskan destinations bear straight down on you before making the turn around the lighthouse. This orientation also provides spectacular sunset views with Campbell River and the mountains of Vancouver Island as the backdrop.

Thirteen fully serviced RV sites (ten oceanview sites, two beachfront sites and one group site) nestled in naturally landscaped settings along the shore of Discovery Passage. Each site has a picnic table and complete hookup facilities. Complimentary hot showers, laundry and local telephone are available in a central building. Guests at our RV Park are welcome at the main lodge during operating season for meals and refreshments at the Hama Elas Dining Room & Lounge and browsing the First Nations art & gift gallery.

Open Year Round. Reservations accepted, and recommended May to September. Call us today, a breathtaking view and a warm welcome await you.
