Moonlight Shadows B&B is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast on beautiful Quadra Island in British Columbia. We are open Year Round and the perfect place for a Family Reunion or host group workshops! Soothe your senses, rest your mind, body and spirit at our very peaceful Bed and Breakfast

Quadra Island is located at the northern end of the Gulf of Georgia and is the largest of the Discovery Group of islands. It offers all of the advantages of island living and yet is accessible to Campbell River with only a 12 minute ferry ride. Campbell River is the main commercial center for the area and offers all of the facilities available in a small city.

While staying at Moonlight Shadows B&B you can check out whale or grizzly tours, wilderness experiences, fishing, hiking, kayaking and beach combing and, of course, let's not forget our artists - there are many artist studios to suit every taste.

Bed and Breakfast is walking distance to all Heriot Bay has to offer with the atmosphere of seclusion.

The Living Room

This room is for your use any time as a valued guest in our home. The place to meet the other guests and prepare to partake of our King Continental Breakfast which starts at 8 am and runs until 10 am.

For the early risers - I can serve it at 7 am if you have plans for tours etc. I really don't mind at all!

The Dining Room

A sample of our King Continental Buffet Breakfast. Fresh baked wholesome muffins, jams, fresh fruit or fruit and berry salad, fresh squeezed orange and carrot juice. On the sideboard across from that are breads, toaster, cereals and a small fridge with your milk, creams, etc. Fresh ground coffee, herb teas etc.

I prepare it and you may partake of it at your convenience thru the morning.

The Deck

You might consider on a warm summer morning to partake of your breakfast out on the deck. Breathing in that wonderful morning air and enjoying some laughter to help kick start your day.

Whatever your wishes for a good morning, afternoon or evening the Deck is a nice place to relax and unwind. We wish for you to be completely at home!

Our Suites

The Honeymoon Suite: This master suite is spacious and has the most comfortable bed you could want to sleep on. Warm colors to keep your senses soothed. Ensuite bathroom. Enjoy a view of the deck and garden from this room.

The Blue Suite: One of the most comfortable queen beds you can lay your tired body down on. Everyone gets a great rejuvenation slumber! Roomy enough to relax in our leather chairs with footstools and read or just chat. Ensuite bathroom.

The Double Q Suite: Two brand new pillow top Queen beds that will provide a sleep like on clouds. Tastefully put together like any ranch style country home would have it ~ with a touch of rugged and some very fine artwork. Ensuite bathroom and a sneak peek out at the bay!

Moonlight Shadows B&B is easy to find, drive north up Vancouver Island from Victoria or Nanaimo on Highway 19 to Campbell River. A 2 hour drive from Nanaimo.

Drive right into Campbell River and follow the Ferry signs. The Ferry ride is only 12 minutes and you will come off at Quathiaski Cove. Follow the road up the hill and keep to the left once you see the strip mall. Stay on that road until the stop sign and turn right. Take a left at the first road (West Road), to Heriot Bay and Cortes Island Ferry.

We are situated 3 blocks south of the Cortes Ferry terminal on your left at Macklin Road. Ours is the first and second driveways on the right hand corner.
